The hidden mountain trail is the forbidden fruit for any off-road biker. These trails cut through the thickest brush and go up the steepest mountain. The 2011 Zero X is able to traverse any mountain trail without maximum power and stealth.
Zero Motorcycles have a full line of electric motorbikes, ranging from mini bikes for sale to road race bikes for sale. The Zero X is a fun, silent machine that is made specifically for trial riding. Like all other Zero motorbikes, it has an electric engine that powers from a lithium ion battery. This battery can be charged within 1-2 hours and easily swapped in the bike.
The new batteries for the 2011 Zero motorbikes are said to have a 15% range increase compared to the older motorbike. The new engine is slightly faster than the older Zero X, although the difference is minimal. As with any battery-powered bike, excessive revving and high speeds will quickly drain the battery power.
Aside from a slight lag when the throttle is first turned, there are no flaws in power delivery for the Zero X. Dual settings for power allow drivers to conserve energy or drive aggressively, depending on how much long they want the battery to last for. This bike is completely street legal and can fit any normal sized adult.
Europe is the newest target audience for Zero Motorcycles. Their X 2011 can be purchased as dirt-only or street legal. A street kit is also provided so owners can upgrade their dirt bikes at any time. The kit includes a fly screen, front dash, side mirrors, turn brackets and signals, headlights, tail pod, and modular light harness. Some of the premium bikes will feature full sized Bridgestone dirt tires. The street legal and standard X tires are cheaper, but neither of them are nearly as impressive.
