Stuffed Animal Organization in the Bedroom
Many children now keep a lot in their bedroom. Not only are their clothes there, but their toys are there as well. The bedroom can quickly become a huge mess if precautions are not taken. One thing that relatively easy to take care of is stuffed animal organization. There are a lot of different options you can choose from. Here are a few of them.
- Toy Hammocks – These are the staple of stuffed animal organization. You simply have to hang one in the corner and toss the animals up. It’s easy to install, inexpensive, and it looks great. The only problem is it’s hard to get the animals back down.
- The Original Chain Gang toy organizer – This device is a relatively modern contender. Six feet of chain extend from the ceiling, with 20 clips to attach to stuffed animals. It looks cute and most kids like it. Plus it can double as a snack organizer after the kids are grown. However, the clips are hard for small hands to operate. It’s best suited for children over the age of five. Also, you have to trust your children not to swing on it. If they do, it’s likely to rip right out of the ceiling.
- Toy Trees – These are similar to toy chains in that you have to clip the animals on, but they are a different shape. They come in different heights and hold different amounts of animals. Toy trees are best suited for organizing smaller animals that are roughly the same size; otherwise, it tends to be easily unbalanced. They are great for Beanie Babies.
- The Toy Zoo – This creation is the size of a tall bookshelf. Flexible bars on the front allow a child to easily access his animals, and the top is open to allow them to be tossed inside. It holds a lot of animals without taking up a lot of space.
