Steps on How to Take Off Canvas from Coleman Popup Campers

Coleman campers are like tents and vehicles combined. They are easy to setup like tents and provide the comforts that can be found in a home. Once they are parked and the two beds are already slid out from each of their sides, they are now fully setup and ready to use. The campers’ beds have canvas on them which give them the ability withstand tough weather conditions and resist water. However, as time passes by, these products soon become covered with mold and mildew. For this reason, they should be removed. How do you do this?

To help give you an idea, here are some steps that you can follow to take away canvas from campers. Before you can start the removal of canvas from Coleman pop up campers, you must first prepare a screwdriver because you will need it in the process. Once you already have this in your hands, it is now time to start. First of all, you must look inside the camper and try to see the connection of the canvas and the walls. Surely, you will be able to see L-shaped clamps that have a metal bracket in them. Usually, there are two parts of the bracket which keep the canvas in place.

What you should do is to use the screwdriver to unfasten the clamps which are found on the wall. After that, it is time to separate the top and bottom parts of the bracket from each other. To do this, just simply slide the top part from the bottom and the canvas would instantly be removed from the wall. Do these steps slowly and carefully. Never do it in a hurry to avoid creating further damage to the camper. Once this is done, the camper is ready to be repaired. Keep doing these steps whenever you see that your camper already has a lot of mold and mildew that accumulated in them.
